Personalized Anesthesiology Oral Board Preparation |

|
All you need for the course is a telephone and an internet connection to download the mock oral case. The mock oral board preparation is carried out by phone conversation at a pre-determined time as selected by the examinee. The mock oral exams are specially designed to simulate the high stresses experienced during the actual exam. Detailed feedback will be given for each response afterwards. On average, each mock oral session lasts 1.5 hours. |
|
Track I: A series of 5 exams based on random topics. This is ideal for the more experienced candidate or for the candidate exploring his/her weakness. This is the second most popular Track selection.
Track II: A series of 5 exams based on topics that the candidate wants or needs more practice with (e.g. cardiac, neuro, peds, general, OB).
Track III: A series of 5 exams that go stepwise through the 5 different anesthesiology topics (e.g. Exam I is cardiac, Exam II is neuro, Exam III is peds, Exam IV is general, and Exam V is OB). This is designed for an examiner who prefers a more structured study regimen.
Track IV: This is “pay as you go” section. The candidate pays $180 per exam of his/her choosing (e.g. subject area or random).
Track V: This is the grab bag section only. The candidate pays $100 for a series of 5 grab bag questions per session.
Track VI: RAPID SEQUENCE OPTION. The candidate saves time and money when ordering the “complete” package. The candidate gets 20 random mock exams and 75 grab bag questions for $4000. (Spots limited) This is becoming the most popular Track selection. |
|
The first three tracks are composed of 5 mock oral exams (session I and session II count as 2 exams). The fee for a series of 5 mock orals will be $850. Each mock oral includes one stem case and three grab bag questions. The candidate is free to switch tracks of equal value without penalty during the same eligibility period, but the total number of exams will be no more than 5 exams per paid track period. |

|
After payment is received, the candidate is considered “active” and eligible to complete the mock oral board session(s) at any time once payment is confirmed but not less than 24 hours of his/her scheduled oral board certification exam as assigned by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). The candidate is considered “inactive” once he/she has taken the ABA exam for credit or when the eligibility period ends, whichever occurs first. |
