I want to thank you for your focused guidance. It was my 6th attempt at the oral exams. Despite being in practice for many years, gathering vast amounts of knowledge from different sources, and attending well known anesthesia review courses, only Just Oral Boards was the one that had the right approach to passing the oral exam.
I found about you online and it really worked. Dr. Tran and his team were flexible with my schedule. Mock orals were like the real exams (sometimes even harder) and case discussions were consultant level and helpful in developing the “proper” approach. I passed the orals on the first attempt!!! I wanted to say thank you so much for all of the time, energy, and feedback from all of the examiners at Just Oral Boards. Each of them gave me a different style and allowed me to prepare for many of the small idiosyncrasies that can occur during the exam. As a mother of a newborn, and a toddler, this was the only program that allowed me to balance the demands of a growing family, a full time anesthesiology call taking position, and studying for the boards. You were able to accommodate my busy schedule and help me to use my time constructively and efficiently. I realize that the oral boards are not just about knowledge because some of the most brilliant anesthesiologists did not pass on their first attempts. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. I am now board certified! Your program is great. I felt well prepared for the oral exam. Your program works because it stresses preparation, practice and NOT procrastination. I felt like all the J.O.B. examiners cared about my progress and gave me helpful advice on how to answer questions in an organized fashion. I just want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to put this exam behind me. My husband and children are grateful to have me back. Life is good. I would recommend your program above all the “other programs” out there. For all the future examinees, think of the orals as preparing for a part in a play. Actors/ actresses practice their dialogues out loud…over and over. They don’t just read the dialogue and hope to do well on opening night. They don’t sit in lecture..hoping to learn their part. Dear Just Oral Boards,
I finally found a board prep course that worked. It gives you the information on how to pass as well as the practice that you need to pass. Just Oral Boards is perfect for those who don’t have a lot of coworkers eager to help you do practice tests or those who went to a residency program without any board examiners and no emphasis on the oral exams. It is also great if you specialize in one particular field such as pediatrics or obstetrics and don’t have exposure to the other fields. I liked the one-on-one exams. They are so much better than the “pick a partner” or do 1-3 exams total for a review course that cost the same as this one where you get 24 or more if you need. You don’t have to travel or pay for a hotel or take off work. The examiners are also very helpful with hints and advice. They also tell you what they did wrong and what it took for them to pass. The main help is still the volume of exams and the additional practice time that you have because after passing no one wants to give you exams for fun. With busy practices, no one has the time or desire to spend 1.5 to 2 hours with you. The people at Just Oral Boards really want you to pass out of pride for their service and will offer email for further questions you come up with later. They also remember you and know your name. So I recommend Just Oral Boards as I have tried all the rest and this is the only one that worked for my third and final try.

You guys are awesome!!!!!! I can’t thank you enough for the valuable information I received after each practice oral exam session. Your excellent advice was right on target!!!! This was my second attempt at passing the oral exam. My first attempt I only attended one oral board review course and performed only 6-8 practice exams. On my second attempt, I attended two oral board review courses and signed up for Just Oral Boards. This time around I performed up to 30-40 oral practice exams. Practicing oral exams with multiple physicians was the key for me. I felt confident and my thought process was better organized. I would encourage all physicians to use JUST ORAL BOARDS!!!
